Wild Mustang entitled "Spooked"
Kirt has become widely recognized in the U.S.
and Canada as
one of America's most accomplished woodcarving artists. He grew
up in Maine and developed a love for nature and wildlife.
Kirk specializes
in carving realistic North American mammals, and his students will
learn muscle and bone structure, as well as habitat techniques.
This year's class project will be a carving of a Wild Mustang.
Students will use a combination of hand and power tools, so bring a
dust collector, power carver and wood burner..
